CS2 uses VAC (Valve Anti-Cheat) plus the community-driven Overwatch replay review system. Staying undetected requires understanding both.
VAC Detection
VAC scans for known cheat signatures in memory. External tools that never touch CS2's process are invisible to VAC. Skyrant's DXGI capture and WinML inference happen in a completely separate process.
Overwatch Safety
Overwatch lets other players review your demos for suspicious behavior. This is where settings matter — instant snapping, 100% headshot rates, and pre-firing through walls will get you reported. Skyrant's humanization features (smoothing, reaction delay, miss chance) make aim assistance look natural on demo review.
Best Practices
- Use moderate smoothing (0.5-0.7) so aim doesn't snap
- Enable reaction time (80-150ms) to look human
- Keep FOV small (30-50px) so you only assist on targets near crosshair
- Don't pre-fire — Sound Radar gives you info but act on it naturally
