Apex uses EasyAntiCheat with kernel-level process monitoring. EAC scans for injected code, suspicious drivers, and known cheat patterns. External pixel-based tools bypass all of this.
Why External Works Against EAC
EAC monitors the game process and its interactions. Skyrant never interacts with Apex's process — it captures the screen via DXGI (a standard Windows API used by OBS, Discord, and streaming tools) and analyzes pixels with YOLO neural networks running on WinML.
Apex-Specific Tips
- Use AI detection — Apex's varied legends and skins make color detection less reliable
- Train or use community YOLO models specific to Apex character models
- Sound Radar is extremely effective in Apex — footstep audio is critical
- Set target bone to chest — Apex's fast movement makes headshots unreliable
